Stars prepare for second Chippa test

Ea Lla Koto face Chippa United in the Premiership on Saturday, a week after a 2-1 win over the Chill Boys in the Nedbank Cup last-16.

The match kicks off at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium at 3:30pm.

Paulus Masehe and Bangaly Keita were both on target in last week’s cup match to negate a goal from Onassis Mntambo.

A James Okwuosa strike, meanwhile, cancelled out Edward Mnqele’s effort as the two sides drew 1-1 in the league in November 2017.

Stars come into this match in third place on the Premiership standings with 37 points, while Chippa are down in 12th place with 27 points.

Since the 2012/13 season, both teams have played 10 matches in all competitions. Ea Lla Koto have won five, and the Chilli boys three, as two of the matches ended in a stalemate.

In team news, Stars will be without defenders Rooi Mahamutsa and Nyiko Mobbie, who are both serving one match suspension.
