Free State Stars will be looking to close the gap at the top of the Premiership standings with all three points against Baroka on Saturday.
In fifth place with 29 points from 19 games, Ea Lla Koto are two points behind second-placed Cape Town City, with Mamelodi Sundowns leading the league on 35 points.
Kaizer Chiefs, in third and Orlando Pirates in fourth have both amassed 30 points, but Pirates have played one game more.
Baroka, meanwhile, are two places adrift of Stars in seventh with 26 points.
And as Stars come into this game with just one defeat in the last six games, that includes four successive victories, and a draw away to Ajax Cape Town last time out, Kgoloko Thobejane’s charges have endured some indifferent form.
They have won two, lost four and drawn one of their last six matches, and were held to a 2-2 draw away to Golden Arrows in their last encounter.
In the corresponding fixture last season, Bakgaga won 1-0, and have won two of the three matches played against Stars since their promotion into the South African top-flight two seasons ago, with Ea Lla Koto winning one.
In team news, only defender Bangaly Keita is unavailable for Head Coach Luc Eymael, as he serves a one match suspension.
