Promising full-back Nyiko Mobbie is a welcome boost for head coach Luc Eymael ahead of the Premiership clash with Chippa United on Wednesday evening.
Stars will be out to break Chippa’s seven-match unbeaten league run when they clash at Goble Park on Wednesday evening (6pm).
Sifiso Mbhele is also back from injury for the home team, but midfielder Makhehlene Makhaula as well as new signing Oliver Kwizera, the Rwanda international goalkeeper, remain sidelined.
Chippa lost their most recent match, 0-1 to Kaizer Chiefs, but that was in the Telkom Knockout competition.
In the league, Teboho Moloi’s Chilli Boys are flying high after three consecutive wins, which followed on the back of five straight draws. They occupy sixth position in the standings with 14 points.
Stars have a slight edge in the head-to-head record against Chippa, with four wins, one draw and three defeats in the eight previous meetings.
Following a run of three straight wins, a 1-1 draw with Platinum Stars and a late defeat to Cape Town City halted the surge up the league table.
Neither team has any suspensions for the game.
