Following the defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns, head coach Serame Letsoaka says the mood within the camp is still calm.
Motjeka Madisha scored the only goal of the game as the champions edged Ea Lla Koto in a hard-fought encounter at the James Motlatsi Stadium on Sunday.
Now, with Stars hovering one point above the drop zone, Letsoaka says there’s no reason for panic, with six league games remaining.
“If one looks back at the Sundowns match we did fairly well especially in the second half, we had a better ball distribution it was just unfortunate we could not get a goal to equalize and even get a win in the particular game,” he said
“One is aware that we have gone a few matches without a win and it happens to the best in the world and it’s happening to us, we just need to pick ourselves up and get back to winning ways.
“We have played 3 matches in the last 10 days it was not easy but we will definitely tick the positives from this match in going forward in the next match against Platinum Stars,” he added.
“With the rest before the Platinum Stars match I think the team will have rested and have better energy and hoping will get results.”
Stars take on Dikwena at the Moruleng Stadium on Wednesday evening at 19:30.
