Polokwane City are the visitors to Goble Park on Saturday for an important match in their battle for Premiership survival.
With two games to play, while Ea La Koto are secure in the top eight – in fifth place with 39 points – Rise and Shine are just a point from safety on 32 in 13th position.
Both sides have been relatively inconsistent of late, with Stars coming into this game on the back of a 3-2 reverse to SuperSport United after a massive 2-0 victory over Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank semis.
After a run of two win and two loss, Polokwane have drawn their last two games 1-1, with Bidvest Wits and Cape Town City.
The last time the two sides played each other, Ea La Koto emerged from a five-goal thriller.
Ahead of the tie, Stars Coach Luc Eymael said he expects a tough game against City, who are desperately in need of the three points on offer.
He said: “It’s been a tough schedule of games for us and have had to come back home to prepare for this game after playing SuperSport on Wednesday.
In team news, Ea Lla Koto will be missing the duo of Nhlanhla Vilakazi and Sinethemba Jantjie due to suspension.
