Ea Lla Koto physio report

With the FIFA international break coming to an end, a few of our injured squad members are fighting for fitness in a bid to bolster coach Luc Eymael’s first-team selections.

After three wins from the last five Premiership fixtures and currently in tenth place, a win against Chippa United on the 22nd of this month could see Stars move into the top-half of the table.

Injury updates:

Midfielder Makhehlene Makhaula remains on the sidelines with an ankle injury but is expected to return within three weeks after undergoing his rehabilitation fitness program.

In-demand full-back Nyiko Mobbie who’s impressed this season has returned to full training and provides a welcome return for Eymael.

Sifiso Mbhele is also set for an imminent return after a blow to the thigh in training but off-season recruit Oliver Kwizera remains a long-term absentee.

The 22-year-old Rwanda international goalkeeper has yet to make his debut for the club and is expected to return to training in two months after undergoing knee surgery.
