New signing Maxime Cosse was delighted to make his debut in the 2-0 win over Baroka as he settles into life in the PSL.
Coach Luc Eymael introduced the Belgian striker for goalscorer Goodman Dlamini in the 76th minute of the Goble Park clash after goals from Dlamini (33′) and Siphelele Mthembu (67′).
Cosse said he was satisfied with his first appearance in the Premiership, which he says is much faster than the Belgian league.
He told this website: “It’s a very nice feeling to be playing in the PSL
“I am working very hard at training to get a starting 11 berth
“I was very satisfied with my 20 minutes I played for my first match, and it was cherry on top that I ended up in the winning team. There is still a room for improvement in my game.”
On his first impression of the Premiership, Cosse added: “If I take a look at the two leagues the Belgian and the PSL, I must admit that the PSL is much faster and has quality players compared to the Belgian league.
“I still need to adapt to the weather conditions but I should be OK in the coming weeks.”
