Free State Stars will look to return to winning ways against Black Leopards in Sunday’s 15h30 Premiership kick-off at Thohoyandou Stadium.
Ea Lla Koto controlled much of Wednesday’s home match against Golden Arrows, but had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
The result moved Luc Eymael’s charges up to seventh on the table with 12 points from 11 games. Meanwhile, 12th-placed Lidoda Duvha have eight from eight.
“For me the position is not the problem, the problem is that we are dropping points and we don’t deserve to drop these points you know,” Eymael told KickOff‘s website.
“I think we created 17 chances in the box, the opponent has two free-kicks only, they score on one. I have to congratulate my boys because they fought until the end.”
Meanwhile, Leopards will be looking to bounce back after their last match saw them eliminated by Kaizer Chiefs on penalties in the Telkom Knockout.
“Now that we are out of the Telkom KO Competition, our full focus is on our league programme,” said coach Joel Masutha, according to Zoutnet. Masutha revealed that Joseph Mhlongo has recovered from injury.
