Mohammed Anas scored two late goals to secure a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Platinum Stars on Saturday night.
Gift Sithole had broken the deadlock on 42 minutes at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium but Anas came off the bench to win it for Ea Lla Koto with goals in the 81st and 88th minutes.
The inform Siphelele Mthembu was first in with a chance after a quick start but Dikwena stopper Mbongenzi Mzimela made a good save.
Badra Ali Sangare then denied Robert Ng’ambi with a super save of his own from his rasping drive moments later.
Makhehlene Makhuala was next to cause problems for the home team with a header that so nearly hit the target, ahead of the opening goal shortly before the break.
Sithole did well to create space for a shot after a Platinum Stars corner and picked his spot well.
Thabo Maphakisa replaced Mthembu at the break ahead of the introduction of Anas for Nhlanhla Vilakazi on 69 minutes.
Roger De Sa’s side were pressing well and proved difficult to break down, as Maxime Cosse saw Mzimela save a driven free-kick before Ng’ambi’s acrobatic effort flew just wide.
Anas though made no mistake when he levelled with a fine finish before finding a winner with a strike through the legs of goalkeeper Mzimela after connecting to a cross.
The result saw Ea Lla Koto move up to third place on the Premiership standings with 37 points from 23 games.
Platinum Stars remain bottom of the standings with 17 points.
